Lou Carboni

Acting President of Quaker Risk Control

Lou leads a group of private investors, active management professionals and subsidiary leaders as President & CEO of MeetingHouse Growth Ventures, LLC. His primary responsibilities are based on the strategic development of the organization and key personnel while delivering clear financial value to clients and stakeholders.

After starting his career as a commercial insurance management trainee at the PMA Group immediately following graduation from Lycoming College, Lou soon moved into sales and has remained in sales, business development and leadership roles throughout his career. For the last dozen years Lou has worked for three of the top 10 largest insurance brokers in the world as a successful property and casualty senior vice president & producer handling complex risks in construction, real estate, food & beverage, senior care, behavioral health, life sciences, transportation, technology & manufacturing. He enjoyed leadership roles in executive search, managed care, risk control, commercial insurance brokerage and property & casualty risk management while serving large and upper middle-market, c-suite level clients.

Lou has always had entrepreneurial spirit and philanthropic purpose. He founded and successfully led The Nickal Group, Inc., a risk control consulting firm and GPECC, The Greater Philadelphia Executive Claims Council. He has served on the board of Kids’ Chance of Pennsylvania and the finance committee of Liberty Lutheran Services. He also volunteers his financial support and time with: Lisa’s Army, Susan G. Komen Foundation, Artman Assisted Living and the American Cancer Society.

Mr. Carboni will continue his mission to lead MeetingHouse Growth Ventures, LLC, identify new opportunities in the ever-changing risk arena and position our holdings to deliver the highest quality services for our clients and stakeholders.
